Vibrant Gerberas set the
scene with a colourful table setting by Awesome Bridal Decor |
Gerberas are amongst the
best flowers for cutting but they should be cut a day or two before
they go on display since the flowers tend to close up at night after
they are cut. The stems should be dipped in boiling water after cutting
and then placed in deep water for several hours before arranging
if the stems are limp.
They can have weak stems
and wiring might be necessary curling up the stem neatly from the flower
head to the end of the stem .Their vase life is 7-10 days and they are
available all year round
They are ideal for form
and mass arrangements and to create the rounds in a modern design |
